The government decision on where the UK goes as far as London’s future air travel needs are (See Sir Howard Davies on stage) is sprouting plenty of debate.
With the interim Davies report imminently due (said to be early December) a conference is being organised on 19 November (16:00 at a Westminster venue to be confirmed) to discuss the whole airport controversy.
We are promised speakers from all the alternative possibilities and a lively debate. Sir Howard has made it clear that there has to be expansion and will recommend, post election 2015, what the Commission feels is the best course, although it is to be noted that the 17 (was 18) advisory members have no investment nor commercial aviation experience. www.insightpa.com
