A time for growth

Bathrooms do not often feature in BTN unless describing an upmarket hotel.  This week we make no excuses for highlighting a serious item in a hotel night stop. See COMMENT. Hoteliers will be at the Business Travel Show next Wednesday and Thursday.  We wonder what they will make of our survey.

Lord Ahmad, aviation minister, spoke at an Airlines UK Aviation Policy Framework update.

Growth all round this week, as the aviation boom is reflected in new airport stats, with Dublin making its mark, and Virgin Australia on the verge of big things involving Hong Kong. The latest Dreamliner makes an appearance, Luton Airport moves ahead with its mass transit plan and Delta throws down the gauntlet on inflight catering. British Airways has its eyes on Milan, while Biggin Hill has cause for celebration. ON TOUR has a “Flying at the Front End” report on Vietnam Airlines, while AND FINALLY mixes football and trains.
