The UK and bilaterals. What next? BTN readers warch this space

With Richard Cawthorne on holiday, Malcolm Ginsberg edits this edition of  Business Travel News.

Last week's issue and its  COMMENT  on cycling certainly stirred up controversy, with some saying two-wheeled travel has nothing to do with business travel. You may not agree with  BTN  but a great many people, including City types, cycle to work. They need protecting and in turn the requirement is to stick by the rules.

This weeks COMMENT is simple.  How do you judge the world's best airlines.

Faith in the UK economy and transport rules are highlighted with a new ferry to  France  and long-haul expansion at  Norwegian.   Book early if you want to hear what the ongoing transport minister has to say on bilaterals at the  Aviation Club.  Wizz  is doing what its name says at Luton,  Hong Kong  is copying Gatwick and  AND FINALLY  actually means what it says. Alison Chambers reports in from the Paris Air Show.

Don't forget to have your say in OUR READERS’ FINEST WORDS at the end of every article.
