SkyWork at London City

A new shuttle service, aptly named ‘SkyWork Airport Shuttle’, has been launched by service providers SkyWork Travel, Aaretal Reisen, Hotel Schweizerhof Bern and Hotel Allegro Bern to offer direct and convenient access from Bern Airport to Bern city centre in less than 30 minutes. 

SkyWork Airport Shuttle will operate throughout the day for all SkyWork passengers and hotel guests.  Returning passengers can be picked up from the centrally located Hotel Schweizerhof Bern (adjacent to the main railway station) or the Hotel Allegro Bern.  Cost is CHF10 (approximately £6.60) one way or CHF15 return (approximately £10).

Effective immediately, London-based SkyWork passengers can now enjoy connections from London City Airport to four destinations – Belgrade, Rijeka, Split and Thessaloniki.

SkyWork’s announcement comes hard on the heels of news that it will increase its frequency to three times daily Monday to Friday (See BTN 9 June) on its London City to Bern route from the start of its winter schedule on 28 October. www.flyskywork.com
