The majority of retailers and food and beverage outlets that were open at Heathrow T2 & T5 before the UK lockdown will reopen on Wednesday (2 December).Heathrow Retail Director Fraser Brown said: “Now that the second lockdown is coming to an end, we’re delighted the vast majority of our retail outlets will be safely re-opening in time for the holiday season. With retailers more than ever having great offers on this year, we’re sure these festive bargains bring some cheer to those who are travelling through Heathrow this winter.”
Heathrow points out that it’s been voted by passengers in Skytrax the world’s best airport for shopping 12 years running, and has worked collaboratively with our retailers and brands in these extraordinary times to ensure colleagues and passengers are safe and we have the best possible range and value available at this difficult time for everybody.
The airport says that its websites will be updated from midnight first thing Wednesday. Travellers are also advised to visit the individual websites:
