As this is a cruise issue we could not pass by the story of an elderly lady who always booked an inside cabin (not on Crystal we might hasten to add – its two ships do not have interior staterooms).
Her policy was simple. With no external view she was more or less forced to step outside her room. The four walls, even with a TV, can be boring. It was cheaper too.
However she was a regular cruiser.
Her travel agent reminded the line and she was upgraded to a full balcony offering on her next trip.
She has not booked an inside cabin since!
