Over fifties awards

Saga has a rival.  The now London Stock Market listed company has long been the name to look for by the over fifties when it comes to leisure travel.  It now has a steadily maturing, indirect, competitor.

Silver Travel Advisor is providing a platform on its website for that age group to post travel reviews and to blog and interact with blog threads.  It is clearly a valuable source of information about all types of holidays, including those of special interest to mature travellers.  Silver Travel Advisor works in partnership with Age UK, an information and advice service.

Silver Travel has jumped ahead of Saga by launching an awards evening backed by various trade outlets. 

Thirteen categories were chosen including a Special Achievement Award for the individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the sector.  The winner announced at the Dinosaur Gallery in the Natural History Museum last week was Paul Bennett of Grand UK.
