Last month the Airports Commission launched its public consultation on the three short-listed options for airports expansion in London and the South East.
To coincide with the consultation please find links to concise two-sided leaflets from each of the three proposers outlining why they believe their proposal is the best option. We encourage you to read these supplied by “Let Britain Fly”.
Gatwick Airport's proposal
Heathrow Airport's proposal
Heathrow Hub's proposal
Let Britain Fly’s key objective continues to be to build cross-party political consensus for airports expansion and to ensure that politicians make a quick decision to expand once the Commission publishes its final recommendations after the next election.
However whilst it will not be backing an option, it believes it has an important role to play in ensuring that supporters are fully informed as to the benefits of each of the proposals and in ensuring that the business community and key stakeholders are engaged in the debate.
BTN readers are invited to look at the Commission’s independent economic analysis available on their website.
To make a submission to the Airports Commission’s public consultation please click here (deadline is 3 February 2015).
