Never flown or concerned about flying? Or is someone close to you nervous about taking to the air in a metal tube. Or even a plastic one these days.
easyJet has announced the release of 10 new “Fearless Flyer” course dates nationwide for Spring 2015. The courses will take place throughout the UK including Belfast, Edinburgh, Gatwick and Manchester, and due to high demand there will also be courses in Liverpool and Newcastle for the first time.
Mark Wein, Director of easyJet’s Fearless Flyer Course, explained: “Our course has been a phenomenal success this year with over 95% of participants taking to the skies fearlessly after attending the course.
“Our success is down to the unique format of the course which is split into two parts: the first part is either a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon ground session, where our top phobia expert, Lawrence Leyton, and a senior easyJet pilot dispel common flying myths and teach participants a unique set of mind tools to manage their nerves.
“Participants then fly on a dedicated flight onboard an easyJet aircraft where they put the skills they’ve learnt to the test while listening to a live commentary of the flight from our presenting pilot.” The course costs £189. www.fearlessflyer.easyjet.com
