PayPal and Ryanair

Ryanair has struck a payment partnership with PayPal which will offer direct customers, business travellers, travel agents and corporate travel departments an additional option to book and pay for fares on the Ryanair network.

The fee remains the same.  If you shell out via direct debt there is nothing more to pay before the optional charges which can include hold baggage, reserved seats, an electronic SMS service, baby equipment and sports gear.  For credit card users the charge is £1.82.

Kenny Jacobs, Chief Marketing Officer, Ryanair, said: “Millions of European consumers use PayPal on a daily basis.  Our partnership is the latest element of our Always Getting Better programme and our commitment to the continued improvement of our customer experience, and follows the introduction of allocated seating, a free second carry-on bag, reduced fees, a new website, a new app and mobile boarding passes and our Ryanair Family Extra service.

“We will next unveil our tailored business product, as we continue to offer so much more than just the lowest fares.”  www.ryanair.com
