Air France private jet service

Taking a leaf out of the Lufthansa book Air France has joined forces with Wijet to offer a range of private jet services connecting with its scheduled flights at Paris Charles de Gaulle.  Lufthansa has for some years offered a similar service out of a number of airports, in conjunction with Netjets.

Air France says that by using Cessna Citation Mustang type aircraft it can offer the facility to and from 1,200 airports in Europe within 2hrs 30mins of Paris, an ideal solution for a point not served by a major airport or which is closer to home.

Customers can choose their own departure time at the local airport.  There are no check-in formalities and boarding is immediate.  At CDG customers disembark with their baggage without waiting and are driven to their waiting long haul jet, or to the Premium Lounge.  Security is individualised.

On board the Air France private jet, travellers enjoy a cabin with just four large leather club seats. Alcoholic and soft drinks are provided, a selection of exclusive French pastries or a ‘lunch box’ are offered during the flight. Daily newspapers, magazines, touchscreen tablets and free satellite telephone services are also available.  Luggage storage facilities “are sufficient”. www.netjetseurope.com   www.airfrance.com   www.wijet.com
