London – Australia Qantas choice

Qantas is to introduce its 'Q-Eat' service to Premium Economy customers travelling on international flights.  The facility is already available in Business Class.

'Select on Q-Eat' allows customers to pre-order their meal prior to travel, offering more choice, including an additional dish available as an online exclusive on certain routes.  Customers can pre-order their choice of meal between seven days and 12 hours prior to departure via ‘Manage Your Booking’ at qantas.com.

From today (16 September) the service is offered on all flights from Dallas to Australia.  One week later it will be extended Los Angeles to Australia followed in early October on the Australia, London and Dubai routes.
 
Executive Manager International Customer Experience at Qantas, Alison Webster, said that she was pleased to introduce Select on Q-Eat to customers travelling in Premium Economy.

“The Select on Q-Eat offering in Business has been very well received since its introduction last year.  Our customers tell us they enjoy the ability to confirm their meal choice prior to their flight, or to advise us in advance that their priority is to maximise their rest on board, and have their bed made up by our cabin crew directly after take-off”.

Select on Q-Eat will be extended to customers travelling internationally in Economy from late 2013. www.qantas.com
