Istanbul arrivals lounge

Turkish Airlines has opened an arrivals lounge for Business Class passengers at the city’s main airport, Ataturk.  Whilst a member of the Star Alliance, Turkish emphasises that the new facility is only open to international passengers on the airline, with the exception of Elite Plus members.

The 250m2 lounge has a capacity of 38 seats and provides a comfortable ambience for passengers to relax and refresh after their flight.

The lounge offers passengers shower facilities, areas for changing clothes and staff dedicated to ironing clothing items if desired.  This service is especially valuable to guests arriving in the early morning when hotel rooms are generally not yet available for check-in.  Turkish Airlines’ clients will not go hungry either with plenty of provisions available.  There is a plentiful supply of catering provisions, with some local delicacies.  Also available are daily local and foreign newspapers and magazines, a full wireless internet connection, and charging points for passengers’ electronic devices.

The lounge will be open every day to receive arriving passengers from 05:00-12:30 and will be close at 13:00 (local times). www.turkishairlines.com
