Business Aircraft Europe

London’s Biggin Hill Airport is set to host the 2013 Business Aircraft Europe (BAE) exhibition over two days on this coming Wednesday and Thursday, 11 and 12 September.

Exhibition venue is the modern 55,000sq ft terminal hangar that will embrace the full exhibition area, seminar room, restaurant and static aircraft display.  Organised by MIU Events, the 2013 exhibition has the airport and Kennedys Aviation as main sponsors.

More than 60 international exhibitors have signed up for the event with participation free for business aviation executives.

The seminar programme, chaired by Aoife O’Sullivan, a partner in Kennedys Aviation, launches Wednesday morning with welcomes from Alan Perry, CEO of organisers MIU Events and from Robert Walters, Business Development Manager at Biggin Hill.  Serge Sergeef, MD of Sovereign Business Jets, will deliver an address.  As the session proceeds, Richard Koe, MD at WINGX Advance, tracks trends and statistics for business aviation in Europe, followed by an Operators Panel with an experienced group of the industry’s senior executives.  Subjects under scrutiny during the afternoon session include aircraft finance, legal and compliance issues and aircraft sales.

On Thursday the seminar programme includes Alasdair Clark from Air BP forecasting the future of aviation fuel; a charter broker panel under the chairmanship of Tony Coe, Chairman of BACA, and a presentation by Dr Fateen Al Baddad, CEO, Al Baddad Aviation, regarding easterly horizons for new customers in emerging markets. www.miuevents.com/bae2013
