2014 Business Travel Show

It may seem a long way off (4-5 February, Earls Court 2) but organisers Centaur are already heavily promoting the 2014 Business Travel Show (BTS), Earls Court's final trade exhibition before its closure.  From 2015 the show will be held at nearby Olympia.

The 20th anniversary event will include two new feature areas – the International Hotel Village and the CSR and Sustainability Business Travel Zone.  These complement the Business Travel Show Conference, Business Travel Technology Showcase, Airline Pavilion, ASAP Pavilion of Serviced Apartment Providers and ITM Village (Institute of Travel & Meetings).  The show is co-located with Travel Technology Europe and Hospitality Technology Europe.

The 2013 event attracted 205 exhibitors (an increase of 6% over 2012) and 6,148 visitors.  Event Director, David Chapple, is confident exhibitor numbers will, once again, exceed the 200 mark and continue to attract senior buyers from all over Europe.

“We are investing heavily in the Business Travel Show hosted buyer programme for the third consecutive year”, said Mr Chapple. “A new executive has been appointed who is tasked with bringing even more senior buyers to the show from France, Germany, Spain, Benelux and the Nordics and we are enhancing the hosted buyer conference, which debuted successfully in 2012”.

With the recent cancellation of Business Travel Market, BTS is the UK’s only gathering of its type. www.businesstravelshow.com www.businesstravelmarket.co.uk
