The picture says it all but do read on and learn how two young girls have done their bit to support a very worthwhile charity.
On 21st August 2013, Rose Powell and Flame Brewer flew into the record books, becoming the world’s youngest formation wingwalkers. The 9-year old cousins achieved this breathtaking feat at Rendcombe airfield, home of the famous Breitling Wingwalkers. Despite reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour and being just metres apart the girls seemed unfazed; Flame described the flight as just “a little bit scary” and Rose compared it to a “mega funfair ride”. They decided to break the record to raise money and awareness of The Duchenne Children’s Trust. The girls are friends of Eli Crossley, who suffers from the muscular dystrophy disease. www.dc-trust.org www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23788260
