The threatened baggage handlers' strike at Stansted next weekend was called off today after successful negotiations.

A spokesman for the airport said: “Providing great service to passengers is important to us so we’re delighted this situation has been resolved and we're looking forward to welcoming the hundreds of thousands of passengers that are jetting away from Stansted over the Bank Holiday weekend”.  www.stanstedairport.com
