Fearless Flyer

easyJet, is extending the rollout of its successful ‘Fearless Flyer’ courses to eight locations across the UK to help hundreds of people conquer their phobia.  BTN notes the spread of the airports is a good indication of easyJet’s reach now across the nation.  It is seen at every major airport, with the notable exception of Heathrow.

There is little doubt that many suffer from a fear of flying with the level of apprehension and anxiety experienced varying from nervous flyers who find it difficult to relax onboard, to those who can no longer fly due to their fear, or others who have never flown at all.

The two-day easyJet course enables anxious participants to board an aircraft confidently and begin their transformation from nervous passengers to fearless flyers.  These are now being rolled out at a further five of the airline’s bases in addition to the current three running at Bristol, Glasgow and Luton airports.  Added are Edinburgh, Gatwick, Liverpool, Manchester and Stansted with participants expected to attend the three-hour long course followed by a dedicated easyJet Fearless Flyer flight.

The two-part programme is hosted by top phobia expert Lawrence Leyton, from Channel 4’s “Fear of Flying" and a senior easyJet pilot. www.easyjet.com
