Doubletree Lodz Poland

Hilton has opened its first Polish Doubletree in the city of Lodz.

Built on the site of the famous Lodz Film Studio, the property pays homage to the golden age of Polish cinema.   Its towering 8,000sq m glass façade depicts a scene from one of the many Polish film masterpieces to have emanated from the ‘Dream Factory’ studios.

Once inside, guests continue their journey through cinematic history with guest rooms featuring film motifs, whilst its swimming pool forms a visual tribute to the works of Oscar winning director, Roman Polanski.

The hotel enjoys a central location with views overlooking the green expanses of Poniatowski Park.  Each of the 200 rooms reflect DoubleTree by Hilton’s upscale offering with a separate kitchen and views across the park.  Additional facilities available on site include a 4,500 sq m concert and congress hall which is complemented by six additional state-of-the-art meeting facilities.

An indoor swimming pool and spa with four treatment rooms inhabits the top floor of the complex, whilst befitting of its heritage, a contemporary cinema room is set to become an attraction for guests and locals alike. www.doubletree3.hilton.com
