Aviation art in The Mall!

London’s Mall Gallery, situated just behind Admiralty Arch, is the venue once again for the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Summer Exhibition.

The exhibition will be open to the public for six days from Tuesday 23 July (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00-17:00; Thursday 10:00-20:00; Sunday 10:00-12:30).  Entry is free.

Paintings by many of the world’s very best aviation artists will be seen, including the work of internationally renowned artist and Guild President Michael Turner, Gerald Coulson, Anthony Cowland, Patricia Forrest, Alex Hamilton, Roger H. Middlebrook, Denis Pannett, Simon Smith, Philip E. West and Ronald Wong, as well as works by exciting new artists.  All except three are for sale.  Past exhibitors included Michael Donne, the former aerospace correspondent of the Financial Times.

This exciting, eagerly-awaited exhibition will feature outstanding work in an impressive range of styles from the representational to semi-abstract and in a wide variety of media.  Aviation and flight in all its forms will be depicted, making the exhibition a ‘must’ for collectors of aviation art, anyone interested in aviation, its history and those who just enjoy original art. www.gava.org.uk
