Now Britain’s biggest airline, easyJet is further expanding with five new ex-UK routes from October onwards.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport gains a twice weekly service to Larnaca starting 2 November whilst Luton is added to the Venice schedule with a four times a week operation from 13 February 2014.
Introduced is a Manchester to Lyon Saturday service from 14 December. Lyon is the major city in South East France and a gateway to many popular ski resorts
The airline will add a twice weekly winter sun route to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands from Newcastle International Airport from 6 November. Bucharest, the Romanian capital, joins the airline’s network from Gatwick for the first time on 17 October with a four times weekly service. Bucharest is home to the second largest building in the world, the Parliament Palace and the Arcul de Triumf, modelled after the Parisian Arc de Triomphe.
Paul Simmons, easyJet Sales UK Director, comments: “We’ve already carried nearly 34 million passengers from across our network of 11 UK bases in the past year and we are hugely excited to be in a position to expand our destinations further to offer more choice to our customers this winter". www.easyjet.com
