Qatar’s Scandinavia Dreamliner

The latest destinations for Doha-based Qatar Airways as it expands its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet have been announced.

Stockholm             Sweden         1 August
Copenhagen          Denmark       1 September
Oslo                       Norway         1 September

Qatar Airways operates a total of 21 services to Scandinavia.

After what were clearly aggravating delays Qatar Airways’ Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker is full of praise for the 787.  Speaking at the Paris Air Show he was very positive: “Our Scandinavian routes have grown in stature and importance since we began flying to the region in 2007”.

“I am delighted that our Dreamliners will be introduced to Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo very soon providing our passengers with an unparalleled level of service and comfort to and from Scandinavia”.

“I have always said the Dreamliner is a state-of-the-art aircraft designed to change the passenger travel experience because of the space, comfort, interior look and feel and, from an operational point of view, a highly fuel-efficient jet aircraft”.

Qatar Airways has taken to date six 787s with 24 more to come.  As the lead airline it also has on order 80 Airbus A350s. www.qatarairways.com
