787 introduction by Norwegian

Norwegian will operate its brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner on several European routes this summer, including London – Oslo.  Norwegian’s passengers will also have the opportunity to experience the state-of-the-art 787 Dreamliner on selected services from Oslo to Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Nice.

Norwegian is scheduled to take delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner at the end of June with the aircraft due to come “on-line” 4 July.

787 Dreamliner July schedule:
Oslo – Malaga – Oslo: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Oslo – Alicante – Oslo: Monday and Friday
Oslo – Barcelona – Oslo: Monday and Friday
Oslo – Gatwick – Oslo: Thursday and Sunday
Oslo – Nice – Oslo: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday

In the meantime Norwegian has put into service an Airbus A340-300 from the European leasing company HiFly on the new Oslo to New York and Oslo to Bangkok routes as cover for the Dreamliner.  The airline currently has eight Dreamliners on order, three to be delivered in 2013, four in 2014 and one in 2015. www.norwegian.com
