With the introduction last week of a daily service between Gatwick and Bergen, easyJet has also published figures showing frequencies on some of its key, often mainly business, routes. Bergen does not really come into this category as it is a key tourist destination, but it is however Norway’s second largest city. The airline competes head-on with expanding rival Norwegian at Gatwick. ((see below))
easyJet currently offers 15 flights daily between all four major London airports and Amsterdam, including six return frequencies from Luton. Both Belfast International and Edinburgh have 14 London services each, again from all four, whilst Glasgow has 12. It is not, as yet, connected to Southend. The two Milan airports have 10 flights between them from Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. Barcelona has nine flights daily, but none from Stansted.
From Paris easyJet offers nine frequencies daily to each of Milan, Nice and Toulouse, and is the second largest carrier in France. www.easyjet.com
