AND FINALLY: No lipstick ban

Contrary to reports in other publications Turkish Airlines' Chief Executive, Temel Kotil, has confirmed that the privatised airline of the secular Moslem state has not banned its female staff from wearing lipstick.  It would seem that someone (perhaps formerly) in middle management spoke out of turn to the media.

"We are a great global carrier and we know what we are doing", he said.

He noted that a fine range of alcoholic drinks is offered on flights.

“We are going to install a lounge area in Economy in our new aircraft, a world’s first.

We are growing fast”.
