Airbus A380 to Hong Kong

Malaysia Airlines (MH) will commence a daily Airbus A380 service on the Kuala Lumpur – Hong Kong route effective 1 May offering UK passengers a daily A380 connection from Heathrow through to the Chinese Special Administrative Region.

The 494-seat super jumbo will be replacing one of the current B737-800 double daily services on this route, a real bonus for regular passengers.  The 3hrs 50mins flight leaves at 09:15 and arrives Hong Kong at 13:05 and returns at 14:45 for an 18:25 arrival.

With the A380 replacing the narrow bodied Boeing, Malaysia Airlines is also introducing First Class travel on this route.  The super jumbo has eight First Class seats on the main deck, which converts into a flat bed of 87 inches in length and a width of 40 inches, making it the widest First Class seat in the skies.  Each seat has an individual 23-inch in-flight entertainment screen with personal closet and stowage for coat, luggage, laptop and personal belongings.

Hong Kong will be the national carrier's third A380 destination after London and Paris.  In conjunction with the introduction, MH will be offering special A380 fares from Heathrow to Hong Kong and 90-minute connection at Singapore with time to visit the Duty Free. www.malaysiaairlines.com
