National carrier Air Namibia is to go from four services per week to daily from Frankfurt starting 26 June. The 11hrs 20mins flight is operated by a two-class Airbus A340.
Air Namibia is based in Windhoek (WDH) and operates scheduled services to Cape Town, Harare, Johannesburg, Luanda, Maun, Victoria Falls and Frankfurt, as well as domestic services from Eros Airport (ERS) to Katima Mulilo, Luderitz, Ondangwa, Oranjemund, Rundu and Walvis Bay .
The Frankfurt – Windhoek route is Air Namibia’s single largest operation, in terms of revenue and ‘Available Seat Kilometers’. The importance of this route goes beyond Air Namibia, as it also contributes significantly towards the development and sustainability of tourist arrivals into Namibia.
At the same time the airline has appointed APG as its UK General Sales Agency. http://agent.apg-airagencies.com/en
