Passengers in transit at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Air France terminals 2E and 2F can now benefit from new connection routes to their departure lounges that are direct, simpler and quicker.
All passengers in transit in Terminals 2E and 2F (whether or not they are arriving from a country in the Schengen zone) will now follow the new pedestrian paths which lead directly to their new departure gate, without having to venture into the main concourses.
Those from a country in the Schengen zone and departing for an international destination will undergo no further security checks. This will result in an estimated average gain of 10 minutes on the previous route, a vital few minutes sometimes when trying to make a connection.
This system marks the final completion of the substantial transformation of the Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub that began in 2012 with the June opening of Hall M, followed by the grouping together of Air France flights and those of its Skyteam alliance partners in Terminals E and F in October. www.aeroportsdeparis.fr
