Tim Ware

Business Travel News was sad to learn of the unexpected passing of Tim Ware (69), a fine writer and ever helpful to all at media gatherings and press trips.  An affable, charming and astute companion, Tim made a host of friends in travel writing and across the travel industry.

Tim had spells in national newspapers before embarking on a freelance career, working for daily newspapers, consumer magazines, travel trade journals, books and for 13 years as a co-writer on Thames TV’s Wish You Were Here.

He will be sorely missed and our condolences go out to his widow Anthea and family.
