Two times WOW

Icelandic airline WOW Air, founded in 2012, is to double its flights from Gatwick to Reykjavik from 2 June.

Twice-daily flights will depart London at 12:15 and 20:40 on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with a daily flight on Saturday, which will depart at 12:15.

WOW likes to say that it offers a complete experience during its flights with humorous on-board announcements and friendly cabin crew dressed in purple.  It currently operates a pair of Airbus A320s which will be joined by a further two aircraft in March of this year.  A standard industry bag is allowed in the cabin (56cmx45cmx25cm) plus handbag and duty-free shopping bag.  It also offers scheduled service to Berlin and Copenhagen from Iceland. www.wowair.co.uk
