Travellers with time on their hands at Heathrow Terminal 5, and into computers, might want to make the use of a three-month long test marketing campaign organised by Dell.
In the departure lounge visitors have access to a ‘travel hub’ which when viewed from above is in the shape of a world map. The Travel Hub is fitted with all the latest Dell XPS devices, giving access to world maps and encouraging consumers to answer the question ‘Where are you travelling to?’ so they can then view local information through the map and update their social media status before they fly, as well as access exclusive offers from Dell partners.
In the BA Club Lounge, visitors are offered a ‘hands on’ experience with the XPS 10 and XPS 12, with a loan for the duration of their wait in the lounge (on average 1hr 20mins).
Working closely with Microsoft, the 'hands on' experience of the Dell XPS range will showcase the XPS family and give people the chance to experience a re-imagined and reinvented Windows through an all new touch interface. www.dell.com
