Loganair is to introduce a weekday return service to Dan Helder in Holland, via Norwich, from 4 March. Dan Helder is the centre of the Dutch offshore North Sea oil and gas industry, and the most northerly point in the country. It is about 60 miles from Amsterdam.
The new route is an extension of the popular Manchester to Norwich service, which is flown three times every weekday, and once on a Sunday.
The route is part of the Flybe franchise operation and will be flown by a turbo prop pressurised 34 passenger Saab 340B.
Loganair’s Chief Operating Officer, Phil Preston, said: “The Manchester – Norwich service has already proven to be very successful and the new link with Den Helder will be an extremely useful service for passengers spread across the UK”. www.loganair.co.uk
