BA baggage allowance

Readers should be pleased; British Airways is to increase the baggage allowance on certain flights between 1-31 December.  But don’t get too excited.  It is for London City Airport only and between that airport and Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Isle of Man, Madrid, Stockholm and Zurich.

In addition every customer will get a VIP card for Westfield Stratford City, one of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe situated next to the London Olympic Park, giving them a discount at over 80 participating shops and restaurants.  As you fly in you should be able to see where you can spend your money.  The Dockland Light Railway goes direct from the airport.

Luke Hayhoe, British Airways General Manager Commercial at London City Airport, said: “With our low fares attracting shoppers to London they’ll have even more money to spend when they get there, and with an extra bag to carry stuff home they can shop till they drop”.
