Gatwick BA to Las Vegas

Just over 10 years ago Virgin Atlantic inaugurated a three times a week service between Gatwick and Las Vegas (the best ever intro – Editor) which is now daily.  It also flies twice weekly from Manchester.  bmi did for a period too.

British Airways soon realised the potential of the routes and introduced Las Vegas from Heathrow, which is also now daily.

Last Monday (29 October) BA added Gatwick to its programme, but still is keeping Heathrow going.  Even New York is not duplicated at the south London airport.  The 10-hour plus flight is operated by a three-class Boeing 777 on a Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.  If you want First Class it is Terminal Five and Heathrow. www.ba.com
