In spite of its well publicised financial problems Air France is continuing to expand its international long haul services.
For next summer the airline will introduce from its Paris Charles de Gaulle headquarters flights to Kuala Lumpur (from 22 April 2013) and Minneapolis-St. Paul (21 May 2013). Sister airline KLM already operates both destinations from Amsterdam and Skyteam partner Delta flies between Paris and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Air France says that the new services complement the existing operations.
With Kuala Lumpur the services will be all year around with night flights in both directions. Boeing 777-200s will be used with four seats in La Première, 49 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 170 seats in Economy. Customers wishing to travel to Indonesia will also benefit from connecting opportunities in Kuala Lumpur for Jakarta offered by KLM. www.airfrance.com
