Ryanair will launch six new routes from Dortmund in March 2013.  These are Alghero, Barcelona (Girona), Faro, Malaga, Porto and Palma. It becomes the 11th  airport to be served by Ryanair in Germany.

Dortmund lies close to both Cologne and Dusseldorf in the Ruhr Valley and hosts Europe's largest canal port and is linked to the North Sea via the Dormund-Ems Canal.

Ryanair currently has a fleet of 298 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, each with 189 seats.  All the aircraft have performance enhancing winglets either retrofitted or as standard with the more recent deliveries. www.ryanair.com
