British Airways CityFlyer has introduced route number 23, from London City Airport to Venice Marco Polo, and has now been confirmed as the largest operator at the docklands airstrip, both with passengers carried and flights operated.
Operating six days per week (not Saturday) the all year-round service adds to what the airline calls its “leisure portfolio”, with flights to Palma, Ibiza and Malaga during the winter for the first time.
Two-class Embraer aircraft are used on all routes with the exception of the all Business Class Kennedy New York service. The airline also offers Marco Polo from both Gatwick and Heathrow. easyJet and Monarch fly from Gatwick too. www.ba.com
