British Airways will further strengthen its African network this winter when it begins flying to Liberia. This will bring to 19 the number of destinations it serves from London to 16 African countries.
Operating out of Heathrow T5 the winter schedule will now include three weekly services to Monrovia (Liberia), via Freetown in Sierra Leone, starting on 5 November 2012.
This schedule will be reduced to two weekly flights between 10 December and 4 February, before reverting to three thereafter. The route will be serviced by a Boeing 767 in a three-cabin configuration – World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World.
The flights will leave Heathrow on a Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and will depart West Africa on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. All are daytime flights. www.ba.com
