The September luncheon of the Aviation Club of the United Kingdom (Thursday 13 September Institute of Directors, London) at which Keith Williams CEO of British Airways is the guest speaker, is now sold out. A wait list has been established.
The club programme to the end of the year features Akbar Al-Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways on 17 October , and Dermot Mannion, Deputy Chairman, Royal Brunei Airlines, 6 December.
Membership of the Club is on an individual basis only, and is open to those having a professional interest in the advancement and development of the civil aviation industry. Applicants must be sponsored by two members and duly approved by the Committee, whose decision is final . Persons applying after the next committee meeting (in effect the Keith Williams lunch) will benefit as their membership fee will run until the end of 2013. www.aviationclub.org.uk
