Air France initiatives

A baggage collection and delivery service is just one of a number of initiatives currently being introduced by Air France/KLM.  Also new are chauffeur-driven transfers between the airport and downtown Paris, and the use of a hotel room for a few hours to relax when on connecting flights.  Services are available from €200 for up to four people, and earn customers 400 Flying Blue Award Miles.

Long haul passengers in Voyageur (Economy) and Premium Voyageur cabins can now pre-order a range of five à la carte menus as an alternative to the menu of the day.  Choose between a traditional French meal, fresh seafood, healthy organic, Italian or a special dish designed by the famous Lenôtre culinary institute.  New menus can be ordered online for most long haul flights departing from Paris, with prices from as little as €12.  Premium Voyageur passengers can enjoy a refined menu specially created by Michel Nugues, a member of the ‘Toques du Ciel’ airline cuisine group, comprising new entrées and desserts.

The airline says that it is improving its video-on-demand in-flight entertainment offer thanks to new navigation features and a new more intuitive presentation of the cinema and TV sections. www.airfrance.com
