Passengers boarding Hong Kong Airlines daily ‘Business Class only’ service from Gatwick to the airline’s Hong Kong hub can now connect directly to Fuzhou, a new destination for the carrier. The route is made possible by a re-allocation of traffic rights.
Situated in the eastern part of Fujian Province where the Min River reaches the East China Sea, Fuzhou is a prosperous modern city that serves as the economic, political, cultural and transport centre of the province.
The 80-minute sector is the last of four daily flights out of Hong Kong to Fuzhou departing at 22:45. In the morning it is the first flight in the other direction departing 08:25. A two-class Boeing 737-800 is used for the service.
Dragonair has two services weekday and China Eastern one. www.hongkongairlines.com
