Ramada becomes Doubletree

A familiar sight to airport regulars on the Bath Road at the north side of Heathrow, the Ramada has become the DoubleTree by Hilton.

The 200-room property is just a few minutes by shuttle from Heathrow’s central area and its excellent transport connections to central London.

DoubleTree by Hilton London Heathrow Airport features six meeting rooms, totalling 221sq m of flexible conference space for conventions, business meetings, training seminars, banquets and social events, which can accommodate up to 150 guests. The hotel offers a 24-hour self-service business centre and complimentary printing service that includes print-from-your-room facilities.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, Senior Vice President, Development, Europe & Africa, Hilton Worldwide, said: “Hilton Worldwide’s presence at Heathrow Airport is expanding and I am delighted to see DoubleTree by Hilton join our two Hilton Hotels already trading at the airport.  We see potential for more airport hotels under our full-service and mid-market brands across the UK and Europe – offering a variety of exciting accommodation options for both business and leisure travellers”. http://doubletree3.hilton.com
