Hong Kong Airlines

Gatwick is now the home base for the third Hong Kong Airlines’ all Club Class Airbus A330-200 aircraft recently delivered.  Not only will it act as a back-up for the two planes that have served the routes since March of this year but it will also be available as a very high quality charter aircraft offering both a short haul and long range capacity for up to 116 guests.  Normal A330s seat up to 350 passengers.

Hong Kong Airlines offers Club Premier, more First Class than Club Class and 1+2+1 and Club Classic, a traditional 2+2+2 product.  There are separate onboard bars, free wi-fi, a superior 96kg luggage allowance of three pieces at 32kg each and the state-of-the art AVOD in-flight entertainment system.

Yang Jian Hong, President, Hong Kong Airlines stated: “We are delighted to welcome the third all Club Class aircraft into our fleet, signalling the final implementation of our London launch phase.  The response from passengers to our first two aircraft has been fantastic.  Hong Kong Airlines recognises that for our business and premium leisure customers, reliability is paramount.  Having a third aircraft dedicated to our flagship London route will help ensure we can continue to deliver an optimal level of performance”. www.hongkongairlines.com
