John McEwan is new ABTA Chairman

JOHN MCEWAN, Chief Executive of Advantage, is the newly elected Chairman of ABTA.  Daniele Brocolli of Britaly Travel was the other candidate.  Formed in 1950 ABTA now represents over 5,300 travel agencies and 1,000 tour operators throughout the British Isles. This election was the first time that all member of the association were able to vote. www.abta.com
