Hyatt opens new hotel

HYATT HOTELS AND RESORTS opened a new Hyatt Place at Birmingham/Downtown in Alabama.  The new 150-room hotel is on the corner of 40th Avenue South and 20th South Street, near to the financial and legal centre of Birmingham, a short walk from Five Points South, a key entertainment area of the city for dining and nightlife.  All the rooms feature a 42inch high definition television.  The facility will offer complimentary wi-fi connectivity throughout the hotel, an indoor pool and gym for those who need it. www.hyattplace.com
