Launched last June in French for the Paris Airshow at Le Bourget, and now available in an English version, is aeronewstv claimed to be the first online general interest web-tv dedicated to aeronautical news.
“With the web and aeronautics both being worldwide, it was clear that the site should also be in English,” explained founder and President, Frédéric Lahache. “It will also give us a much wider international visibility.”
The free information portal, on film, is addressed to anyone and everyone interested in the sector. It is also a participative medium, allowing viewers to propose report subjects or send in their films. Each week-day, Monday to Friday, a report is put on line by a team of journalists. The current version is limited to five stories, all of interest. The flying car has a problem in finding a road in which to take off, and the British Airways story, regarding the Olympics, asks many questions. The organisation is based in Paris. www.aeronewstv.com/en
