bmi baby presses on with new routes

In spite of the Sword of Damocles hovering over the whole operation bmibaby is pressing on with the programme for summer 2012 and, presumably, passengers and the travel trade are buying the product.

Announced for next year is a new route from Belfast City to Mahon (Menorca) commencing 15 June on a Monday and Friday basis until 24 September.  Flights to Palma and Faro will now operate up to three times a week and flights to Alicante will operate up to four times a week.

The low-cost airline will offer a new weekly service from East Midlands (EMA) to Catania (Sicily).  It will also increase the number of flights to some of its most popular destinations from EMA to Barcelona, Murcia and Malta during the summer season.

bmibaby was created in 2002 and currently operates 14 ex-BMA Boeing 737s in all Economy Class layouts servicing about 40 airports. www.bmibaby.com
