Following its five-year operations requirement IndiGo, India’s fastest growing airline has launched its first international services, daily return flights from Delhi to Dubai. Founded in 2006 it currently operates 43 Airbus A320 aircraft and earlier this year, announced an order for 150 of the new NEO version of the aircraft, one of the largest aircraft commitments ever known.
Effective 2 October 2011, the airline will also connect Dubai with Mumbai.
Currently the airline offers 259 daily flights connecting 26 destinations – Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Coimbatore, Chennai, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Indore, Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Srinagar, Trivandrum and Vadodara.
