British Airways 747 returns to Heathrow

A British Airways Boeing 747 flying to New York JFK with 296 passengers and 16 members of crew returned to Heathrow after a light in the cockpit indicated that one of the aircraft’s doors was not closed correctly.

The flight returned after eleven minutes in the air and landed safety and taxied back to the stand. The airline is undertaking a full investigation into what happened. All the passengers were put on another flight and continued their journeys to New York later. www.ba.com
