General Aviation and the DfT

David Harding, Deputy Director, General Aviation, Safety, Skills and CAA, at the Department for Transport (DfT), has published the first General Aviation (GA) newsletter from the Department. 

It is an excellent document well worth reading by all those interested in this aspect of the aviation industry.

It really does have the fingerprints of the current Secretary of State for Transport Grant Shapps, who holds a private pilot’s licence and who at one time chaired the All Party Parliamentary Group on General Aviation (APPGA) before becoming a minister.
