British Airways discounts Covid tests

To give its customers peace of mind when planning future travel, British Airways is offering discounted rates with government-approved Covid-19 testing providers.

The rapid test kits are ultra-convenient and can be ordered to any UK address. Designed to be portable, customers can take the kits with them abroad, in preparation for their return journey to the UK. Following a video consultation with a health advisor, results are available in 20min.

Before they fly, customers can upload their test results to the BA VeriFLY app to certify their test certificates before leaving home and enjoy a fast-track experience at the airport.

Qured is the preferred supplier at an exclusive, discounted price of £33.  British Airways customers also have access to preferential rates with multiple testing facilitators offering a range of convenient PCR, lamp, antibody and antigen testing options.

Rapid Covid-19 tests use a diagnostic lateral flow device (LFD) to confirm the presence or absence of the virus.  Qured’s rapid tests use a nose and/or throat swab to transfer the sample onto a lateral flow cassette. The LFDs Qured uses have all been independently validated by Public Health England.

There are also a variety of airport testing options available. Collinson, in partnership with Heathrow Airport and London City Airport, offers discounted airport tests to customers arriving and departing from the UK within British Airways terminals.
